Never fished this area and planning on heading up friday with the father in law and my kids. Just looking on some info on which lake will provide us the best bass action. I personally like fishing reeds, pads and docks. Not looking for anyones hot spots just want family to have some fun. Thanks for the help....hopefully!

If it were me heading up there I would hit Chisago/Lindstrom Lake. You will find places to fish to all of the techniques you listed. It's a catch and release lake so the numbers and size are both very good.

I to would hit chisago. I seem to have the best luck there. All the lakes are good though. The pike population in chisago provides entertainment as well. Rumriverrat hit the nail on the head. find rocks or gravely bottoms. I also do well on the deep wedline in some spots. A spinnerbait always seems to produce on chisago. And the kids can catch a lot of panfish if they don't have the patience for bass. If your on chisago be careful. there are some shallow places that don't get marked.

Thanks you guys for the input. Haven't made it out yet, the father in law had a doctors appt. Hopefully this Friday. What is the best map out there to help locate these rock piles and what types of jigs or baits would you fish them with. Thanks again!

It's not really rock piles but just hard bottom transition just off the weedline. Beavers, jigworms craws or senkos are all working well. Look for a 8-12 foot area and work it with your graph.
