The blueberries & raspberries exploded over the weekend in northern Itasca County. Hopefully they don't last.

The heat will shrivel them up...or if it gets a litle hotter they should combust and burn off.

Raspberries in my area have been ripe for a couple weeks nows, grapes have been starting, dont know about blues, not much around me. Like Johny said the heat will burn them off, an just intime for baiting.

I am already finding rasberries well past ripe and hunting is a month away...this just might work out.

Yea I like wat i see so far, but how are the acorns, havent looked up yet, so dont know if the corns are gonna drop heavy or not. be nice if we have a mast free hunting season.

out and about today and yesterday. Blueberrys very thin,also rasberrys , acorns though very thick. seen more bear sign then deer sign.

If those acorns can hold off droping till the middle of sept. i'll be happy, but i might not have the acorns in abundance as park rapids seems to have, Ill have to get out an take a looksie.

Blueberries around Bemidji were still nice and plump as of Wednesday, and some are even still green. I would imagine they'll be long gone in a week or so though. Raspberries are pretty well done here. Blackberries are just starting though, and the filberts are just starting to turn. Acorns suck... let's hope for nill-to-no winds at the end of August...
