Excelsior BUCK Sighting??

Recommended Posts

I saw him with a bigger buck than he the other day, like a good hunting show, lets not harvest the 290" er, there's a bigger one in here meaning I can't afford to harvest that monster, better settle for that high fenced 5.5 year old management 8, cost a lot less.

Bring your ZOOM lens next time! Id like to see a picture of it. That deer has to look extremely impressive in the velvet. Probably cant even see through the tines.

Im real curious to see what happens. It seems like every time theres a deer thats has the potential to be the next "World Record Typical" it junks out the next year and has a couple too many stickers... or the G3 shares a base with the G2... or he breaks somethin... or he actually IS the record and no one EVER sees hide nor hair of him or his antlers ever again.

It would be exciting to know theres one out there thats no doubt a clean typ. over 214.... just a matter if they get him.

Although i guess most of the fun is in the uncertainty?!?!?

I'm just kiddin' guys, I haven't seen him.. smile Just seeing if anyone would respond with something saying they have.

But like I said earlier, Unless you see him with your own eyes I'm sure it will seem as though he doesn't exist. There's not a dude out there that would post a pic or even say that they got a glimps of this deer. Whether or not he's hanging around a legal hunting area, everyone is going to want his sheds to say the least..

I know exactly where he is. Tomorrow I'm going to go ask the people who found the shed if they've seen him. Last December he got up from a bed about 70 yards across a wetland from our living room. He had to back out of the brush because his rack was tangled in the branches over his head. Looks like a cow he's so big.
