Thought I better check on the central air to make sure it was working OK. First time we have needed it in Carlton. Nothing but luke warm air and it was running for 10 minutes. Here I have the power shut off at the compressor

Zoiks, that would have sucked!

When we bought our place, we had to install a new system because the boiler and radiators had cracked. We chose high efficiency propane with forced air, partly so we could install central air. We don't need it often, but when we need it we REALLY need it!

This weekend is going to be one of those times. I'm rebuilding a deck for a client tomorrow, and we've got a bunch of other handyman projects going on Sunday. Sure will be nice to come home to a cool and arid house after all that sweating.

Just got off Lake Superior. Could barely tell it was flipping hot out till I got to the top of Thompson hill and then it hit me like a ton of bricks.

we lived on 11th ave.west and 4th street in duluth when i was a kid. i remember driving up the hill and saw people with jackets on and once i got on top there were people with shorts on. remember it well. Love that town. good luck.

i sent my 15,000 BTU window unit up to my sister inlaws on sunday. They live in cook and have a newborn. Sounds like it got there just in time!
