2 day tourney

Fishing in a tourney in a few weeks, its a 2 day event, but you have a choice of fishing either Saturday or Sunday not both. Most of the boats will be out there on Saturday and alot less on Sunday. I'm thinking with all that pressure from Saturday, the fish will less likely to bite on Sunday.

Which day would you choose and why.

If you have to pick this far out, it really doesn't matter. If possible pick based on the 3 day forecast. If a cold front is going to roll through Saturday night then you probably want to be out Saturday.

I would base my decision on the weather as well. If both sat and sunday look to be stable and the weather leading up to those days has been fairly consistant I'd take Saturday. But if Sunday looks mild, overcast with a light breeze and Sat is bright sun with blue bird skies, hot, and Calm. Sunday prob would be better even with the pressure from Saturday. Yeah some fish would have been caught but the neutral and negative fish that were buried in the thick slop and were not responsive to any fast moving lure will be fresh and ready to roll early sunday morning setting the stage for a good day.

I would go for Sunday.

1. You will know what weight to beat

2. You might pick up some pointers on how and where the fish were caught on Saturday

3. You mentioned fewer boats on Sunday, this would give you more spots to fish
