Need advice for lakes :)

Hello all,

Been lurking around for some time but I really need help. My dad is coming up from

Texas and I want to take him bass fishing nearby (live in maple grove). I hope you

guys can direct me for a good fishing lake near or around the metro. I've tried

owasso (694e & Rice) and also demontriville with little luck. I really just need a

good lake to fish, doesn't matter the size but action catch and release as usual.

Those are both very good options. Turtle lake in shoreview has a ton of small bass

You have Fish Lake in your back yard - lots of big ol bass in there.

Otherwise check out the DNR reports on each lake by clicking this link and that should give you some more info to go off of.

Lots of lakes worthy of consistant action in your area. I would just ask the bait store whats the best one for action. Never hurts to let them know that you are planning catch & release too.. Good Luck!

I'll second Turtle.. Good numbers lake, not so great for size.. I think Demonstervill(as I call it) is a fantastic lake. Dont be afraid to try it again.
