Alright I have been looking at some FMers ideas on here found one that I really like and plan to excicute on my EskimoQuickflip2 this summer just getting into ice fishing I bought my fishhouse last year and really enjoyed all the aspects of it all. Helps I went on a trip to Lake of the Woods with my brother in law and his buddy! But I always like to improve things and make it more efficient as well. I am wondering if these lights would work with a vexilar battery they are dirt cheap on E B A Y and I think I wanna go down this route if possible. Let me know what you think about them go to E B A Y M O T O R S and then search LED Strip light and tell me what you think they say they are water proof? Any comments would be greatly appreciated:)

The 24" strips are silicon not PVC manufactured LED light so they do "ok" in the cold.

There weak point is there wires are very light duty so securing them well is critical to longevity. At the price I seen, it's a very fair deal. Go with the Warm White LED's, not the colored.

I bought a set of LED lights from one of the advertisers here. I think they are called Firebrite LEDs. Amazing. I got a 48" stip and mounted to the top pole in my Otter using zip ties. They are amazingly bright. Not bad on the wallet either.

Check out the LED lights offered here on HSO.

Well built, solid as a rock and very bright.

Everybody that I know that has purchased them are happy.

Yep, those are the ones I bought. Totally awesome.

While my buddies have several strings of lights from the other manufacturers, I have ONE and it is amazing the light these things kick out.

I will agree. I have 2 of the battery pack ones and 1 of the ones you have to mount on a 12 volt. Both are awesome and easy on batteries.
