Berkley Gulp

Anyone tried using the gulp nightcrawler imitations yet? They're supposed to be pretty lifelike. I'm talking about the stuff you can buy in bags, not the stuff in jars.

I'm thinking about giving it a try this weekend.

I tried them up in Canada in June. They worked alright, but not as good as the real thing. The fish didn't seem to inhale them as well. I also used them bass fishing, and my friend outfished me with real crawlers. They are okay on spinner rigs, but work better when jigged. They are nice to have if you run out of bait.

My friend has them. Sunnies love to snip at them when going for bass. Looks like they would work well on a harness like the real ones for dem waldos.
