candiru
Just wondering what some of you may use for filtering your deep fryer oil. I have a Fry Daddy and just used a mason jar, paper towel, and a rubber band. I let it settle out, then pour the top part into the mason jar through the paper towel that is secured with the rubber band. I read an article a long time ago about using pantyhose. I think there are commercial products out there. Any one else have ideas?

thirdeye
Some of my customers do fried turkeys for safety lunches and things, they all use the cone shaped paint strainers to filter the oil. I'm sure it's partially because they have those on hand, but they work nice.
highlife4me
I use a piece of cheesecloth folded several times. Works quite well.
