Crawlers

Not sure, what is the price for a half flat at MFF?

On average, a full flat (500 plus qty) in Canadian Friendly NightCrawler Bedding is going for $60 now at retail. The price is a bit less for dirt bedding per flat.

There are some new Tough Crawlers being marketed now, a new strain I guess? They supposedly can take the heat better and require no refrigeration. I looked at them, they are not very "Plump"....kinda shinny/scrawny looking critters compared to the real deal. I'm not too impressed with them.

if what you are asking about is the 250 count bag it is a good deal if you have a way to keep them alive. the bag was on special for $19.99 or $0.08 per crawler. if I knew I would use that many I would buy it. I still may just buy it, haven't decided forsure yet.

i have kept crawlers [a flat] alive in the basement in my house for the entire season and only have taken what i need per trip along. the proper bedding and most important of all [they must be kept cool]. where i live its a lot of sandy soil and crawlers are not to be found. when i lived in duluth i could get all i wanted in my parents yard. good luck.

I most often catch my own. I live were there are plenty to be found, and they are a big strain of crawlers..sumo crawlers.

An investment in a Frabill Habitat Kit offers you everything you need to get your own Sumo Crawlers bedded down and growing even fatter.
