monster pike?

I've had a couple people tell me that a 52" pike (not muskie) was caught on Leech yesterday. Anyone else hear anything or - even better - see a picture?

Methinks it is going to be the guy in the Netherlands or some hinterland holding the goliath fish and with the shots of it eating a 32" fish at boatside or was it 42". I need hardcore pics and names to go along with it. If it truly did happen then that is fantastic for fishing and Minnesota. Chances are it is another mystic big fish story..........but I love those kinds of stories

i love these stories too, tho i have noticed that when a thread title as luring as "MONSTER PIKE" goes unconfirmed for this long its not true.

Haven't been able to confirm it, so I'm guessing it didn't happen. My friend is a very reliable source of fishing stuff, but evidently HIS friend...not so much

there is a pic of a Hawg on the Intl Falls One stop store HSOforum. Reportedly caught on Rainy in May. Maybe it is that one.
