Riley, W.D. and David Faber with their first ever Wisconsin trout.

They grilled them already yesterday and their mom said they tasted "great".

Opening morning I took out the new neighborhood boyz that just moved in recently from Florida. None of them had ever fished for trout before. Their mom put in an order for 4 trout for the family's supper before we left.

I spectated most of the morning. All three boyz caught trout and had a grand old time. I taught them what selective/responsible harvest was and we harvested our trout from 3 separate streams. This lessens the impact on the trout population by spreading around the harvest so not just one stream has the complete harvest impact.
