Look for water in your bilge or spraying under the console. I don't know Yammies, but most are water pressure that come from a tiny hole in the leading edge of the lower unit. The tube can come of near the lower unit, thus not getting pressure to the gauge, or it can come off at the gauge itself (thus spraying water wink )

Other thing is to check for sand or debris in the that tiny little hole on lower unit. Could trying blowing back on the hose to loosen anyhting.

Soomething that happens often in the COLD fall or spring with low temps is water will freeze in the tube, thus making you think it isn't working. That was how I learned about the above info smile Good luck.
