the x-rap is really not a crankbait, but rather a jerkbait. so it can be worked to be a shallow or deep diver.

I have been using the original X-rap, XR08, and XR10. My go tto colors have been hot steel and in the northern MN lakes the hot pink has really become a staple. Throw them up in the rocks and retreive with a bunch of pauses and twitches and hold on....

They flat out catch fish.

The DT4 fills a niche for me on the Mississippi, I have used many other crankbaits and have caught fish. But there is a certain color pattern that only is available from Rapala, that flat out out fishes every other pattern I have tried.

If 2 guys can put 100 Smallmouth in the boat in 6 to 8 hours with a DT4 in a certain color pattern, why throw any other bait?
