Laws for jet/water skiers

Is there a time frame for jet skiers/water skiers to be on/off a lake?

Waterskiing: Sunrise to 1-hour after sunset

PWC's (jetski): 9:30 A.M. to 1-hour before sunset

Speaking of PWC's, is there any truth to the story I am hearing that the Legislature is going to consider a bounty on them?
One tried to go by my place one day.....

Don't get me wrong, I don't like it when ANYBODY on any type of watercraft buzzes me while I'm fishing, but I wonder how many PWC haters think nothing of climbing on their ATV's in the fall to go crashing through the woods with a load of lumber to build a large hideous "deer stand", disrupting any bowhunters or small game hunters in the area.
This is probably getting a little off track, but I had to stir things up a little.

exactly no one here likes the pwcs but not one of you has a problem getting that icehouse off the lake or getting to that spot on your sled and or atv

The only thing that gets me about the PWC folks is when they are dangerous (riding wakes, etc.) or just don't go anywhere (riding in circles). If a person on a sled cut within 10 feet of my back bumper of my car or drove in a circle for two hours in front of my cabin I would have the same issue with them. That has never happened with a sled or ATV but has happened many times with a PWC.

I know I'm the minority here............And I don't own a jetski...........

But the water is recreation. That means: sail boats, jet boats, cruisers, jet skis, water skiers, and yes, us fisherman............

The jet skis have just as much for rights as anyone else.......

You, as fisherman have more rights, in the sense that you can beat your lures at ones dock @ 6am fishing, or even night fishing next to ones dock, but the jet skier has specified hours to ride.........And specified areas to ride.........

Don't complain about the jet skis, until you complain in the same breath of air about the 20', 300hp ranger bass boat flying @ 75mph.............

A distant relative is the VP for Marketing at Artic Cat. They are in process of putting together a law suit against Ranger because their bass boats are faster than the jet skis ever.........Ranger went hard against the jet ski manufactures, making them shut down production and people loosing their jobs............Artic Cat is now in process of turning the table..........
