ThunderLund78
Got the boat out of storage and did the annual check through. Right signal works fine. When I hit the left signal, both blinkers on the trailer come on like hazzard lights. I re-did all the connections, etc. But did not solve the problem. Anyone ever have a similar issue? Any ideas? bluehat28
Check your ground wire, When ever I have weird light problems it always comes back to a bad ground. Good luck, blue
amateurfishing
if ur right signal works fine, u know those wires r ok. there has to be a faulty/bad/wrong wiring connection to your left side somewhere.
highlife4me
+1 for a grounding problem. Had a simular issue on my wheel house last fall, checked everything, after removing a little rust between the fixture and frame they worked great. Jim Almquist
It really dose sound like a bad ground which is the white wire. Your yellow is the left turn signal but before you tear into it to much make sure your ground has a good connection to the trailer. Usually it is just a little rust that needs to be cleaned up. Bigtom
check to see where your yellow wire runs along the trailer. Sounds like the yellow wire rubbed aginst the trailer to back feed through the ground. Also take a peek at the bulbs just to be safe. marine_man
Ground problem could be youre hitch/reciever even, they get rusty in the winter my suburban does it every year ! To resolve this specific issue.. be sure the white wire on your trailer is grounded to something and that the ground connection on your vehicle is grounded as well. Then it's not up the ground signal to ground through the hitch.marine_man
