loomis mossyback rods

What do people think of these rods? What other rods could they be compared to. Thinking about getting the 7'5" flipping stick.

I have the 7'5" med flipping mossyback and love it. Really nice rod and it has a different bend to it than most all other rods. I've used it for rollr jigs, c rigs, deep cranks, finesse jigs, big spinnerbaits, and frogs... so yeah, its versitile.

sprang and bought a used one off of BBC. I got the heavy action one. 185 to my front door. nice find. I plan to use it for heavy weight creature fishing. Lets go milfoil!

how does it compare to the st croix avid series in weight and sensitivity? Thats is my next highest grade rod. Otherwise it's all mojo bass and premiers.

The st. Croixs are just as good but they bend way different. They are more tippy than a loomis but the loomis has a more crisp feel than a croix. I like them both but loomis casting rods are tough to beat imho...

I own a couple 6'8 jig/worm and a 7 footmed heavy the 6'8" is my favorite rod out of anything I own .
