Price for Used Trolling Motor

BigSwen

Question

Hi guys:

I just ordered a new Terrova 80 with the I-Pilot. I currently have a 24 volt Powerdrive 80 with Universal Sonar and Auto Pilot. It is a 60 inch shaft and it also has the Co-Pilot module added on with two remotes as well as the the foot control.

What would you suggest as a fair price to ask for the used one? It is 5 years old and works great. I would like to sell it as soon as the new one gets here...hopefully before May 1st. I was thinking of asking $650. Is that in the range?

Last year I sold a 70lb powerdrive with the co-pilot 54" shaft, 1 remote and foot pedal and built in transducer for $500. That was the asking price and the first guy that saw it liked it. I had also just replaced the big coiled cord too.

Hope this helps.

I bought a 70lb Powerdrive V2 24v with Autopilot (No Co-pilot or universal sonar) last year for $300. When I picked it up, he said I'll probably need a new pedal and knocked $50 off the price. So after getting a new pedal, I was in the low $300 range on the motor.

If your Powerdrive is not the newer 'V2' version, you may be a bit high. You can't even get adapter cables for the new graphs to work with the old Powerdrive Universal Sonars now.

Well, I got the new one installed and now have the other one for sale. I decided to ask $600, but I am certainly open to offers. Shoot me a price and we can visit about it. Pictures are available too. I listed it in the ad section too.

Thanks for all the help!
