Thanks, guys. It helps pass the time during winter, and you can make exactly what you want, color wise. I also do cranks. These are Deep Husky Jerks:

HET, The airbrush looks like the ticket as that is some tremendous work! Would you be willing to share the equipment you use in doing this as well as where you order your blades? Also is there a finishing process? In making jigs I know we have to seal them with a clear coat to lock down the paint and the eyes. Is this the case with spinners as well?

Thanks and Nice Work!

I hate to hi-jack the thread, but since you asked. I mainly use Lakeland or Peerless Predator blades. Over the years, I've found the cheaper the blades, the cheaper the blades, if you know what I mean. Both listed offer the highest quality blades I've found.

If you want a metallic-type finish, like those found in the top and bottom blade in the first picture, you don't lay down a white base coat. Just paint the color over a silver, gold, or copper blank. If you want the colors opaque, lay down a white base, like those in the second picture. To clear coat, I use Devcon 2-ton clear epoxy, and thin it with a few drops of denatured alcohol. I use Createx latex paints, and an Iwata Eclipse air brush.Harbor Freight sells a very nice, whisper quiet air brush specific compressor for about $60.
