Presco
A few weeks ago on In-Fishermen, Doug Strange used this technique to target bass. I know exactly where he was so I assume this technique is legal to use in Minnesota. Was curious if anyone had ever tried this with any success? It would seem to me you would always be dealing with the lines twisting together. I thought I'd use it to cover water with a couple different colored flukes. Figure out what they wanted on a particular day. Anyway, just curious.
Deitz Dittrich
so your talking about running 2 flukes side by side? If so, I would think that is NOT legal in MN. Just because someone else does it, does not make it legal.
Presco
Yes, he was running two flukes on one line. I know what lake he was on and it was Minnesota, one the DNR is on all the time. I would think its illegal too, but Doug is not one to break the law. Anyway, if its illegal, thats fine, was just curious as it looked like an interesting technique. river rat316
Yes, you can use 2 lines on the border waters of the river (St Croix Confluence to the border) so this rig would be legal there since it is considered 2 lines
