landscaper
Cheap insurance mostly-------I Used 4x4 and had it locked it. well i unlocked it and started driving and there was a grinding sound and felt like i had the brake on trying to drive. That happened this summer and i haven't really driven it much this winter with the ice kinda bad and i didn't have time so really i couldn't tell you if it will happen again or what but other than that and i really don't think its a big deal I LOVE my gator!! would not trade it for nothing! You will not be disappointed! sparkyaber
I picked my new gator up last Friday. I installed my 4000# winch in a few hours on Saturday. Sunday we took it to the lake and put on about 20 miles. I noticed the brakes are horrible! I have heard they are like this when new, and they seem to be getting better, but I hope they get better yet. I can't believe the power this thing has! Great throttle response. I used the winch to pull a tree that had fallen into another one, and it did not even load up the motor. I was also impressed with the suspension on very uneven terrain. As with any JD- great attention to detail and fit and finish. I am really impressed with windshield and the roof system, all quick clamps, allowing them to be removed quickly. So far, very happy with the purchase. landscaper
Looks really good!! I just mounted my safari rack about 4'x4' with light tabs in the front and rear so i really haven't thought about a set up like yours but it would be nice!!
perchking
landscaperI was looking at a safari rack and light bar also, but when I add my tracks on I am at about 15 inchs of clearance and I would never be able to get it into a standard garage. landscaper
I know how you feel! The farm place i am at now has 3 shed doors 2 small and 1 tall one..my new truck goes in the middle (tall door) and gator in one and landscaping tools/mower in the other. Since I built the safari rack myself ( and i didn't measure the height) I built it using John Deeres quick roll bar clamps so i could take it off fast but NOPE it FITS!!! by maybe 1 inch or so!!!! oh well
