Hundai Sonata

Recommended Posts

Its front wheel drive so that a bonus. What will make or break the traction is the tires that it is equipped with. If you find the traction is not up to par than I can suggest getting a snow tire mounted on a steel wheel.

This will do two things.

Boost traction significantly on snow and ice.

Save the alloy wheel from corrosion

Other wise a new model year would be pretty tough to get some feedback one.

I rented one in Vegas in february. Of course no winter driving conditions, but me, my brother, and his 2 buddies were all very very impressed with that car. Drove the wheels off it for 5 days and had half tank of gas the day I filled it back up before I returned it.

I was talking to a friend the other day that has a very new sonata and he said he was impressed with how it did in snowy conditions. This was just after driving from Appleton Wi to the twin cities in some pretty snowy conditions.

Thanks for the input, yeah, I heard they get roughly 36 mpg that would be nice. But, already heard a couple bad reports on the snowability of the Sonata so wife is probably leaning back toward a Camry, cause familiarity. Keep input coming, thanks
