TylerS Posted March 1, 2011 Share Posted March 1, 2011 Season start May 1, actually. I imagine with the water flow, you could definitely find some fish on opener up there, even if it's a tad chilly. Shot the biggest carp of my life in early May a couple years ago and it was barely 50 degrees out. Found him and a bunch of others keeping close to the cattails, as there really wasn't any other cover available.
