I have been spearing Forest Lake and seeing virtually NOTHING but MUSKY!! Does anyone have a nearby lake that has been productive for spearing northern? Thanks all!

You can spear on French. Used to be on the list, but was lifted by the legislature a couple years back.

Oops I was wrong. You are right Acemac. Forest lake in Hennipen County is off limits to spearing.

I would think most any other lake would be better than FLake. The water on FLake isn't particularly clear and I've never seen nothing but hammerhandles as far as pike go.
