Reel repair

I live near Leech lake and am looking for a reel repair and cleaning service here or near Brainerd.....The Hackensack shop is now closed.....Thanks.

I think there is a guy in Brainerd that will do it. Swampbuck might be able to help out if he check this. Otherwise, I would call Rick at Gander Mountain in Baxter. He would know of somewhere too.

Its viking rod and reel repair. Al Libera is his name he does a great job and fair priced I took about ten rods and ten reels in a few years ago he rewrapped guides and fixed worm gears etc got em all for about $160

If all fails you can send it into Outdoor World Bass Pro Shops. They charge about $20/reel unless there are parts that need replacing. They call you with pricing before work is done.

I believe Mark Cook at Bluewater Bait in Bemidji still does reel repair as well.
