need a thermocouple for empire direct vent

usually a heating and air cond. shop stocks up on those items. give one in the area a try.

called around and Waconia farm supply has universal thermocouples, not specificly for Empires but maybe one of them will work. Thanks.

I looked on the empire web site and from what I'm seeing you do NOT need a thermocouple BUT a THERMOPILE. They are two entirely different items. Go to your local HVAC shop and have them order you one. Bring your model and serial number so they can order the correct one. Good luck!!!

Very common part on a very common furnace. Should be easy. It's probably not even a specific Empire part. Most hardware stores may probably have them.

Yes. Usually just have to make sure you get one long enough, but they are often sold as a "universal" kit.

what model empire furnace do you have and do you have a picture of the part your looking for??

Gas Service company in St.Cloud, Little Falls or Albany will have all your Empire parts, they are a dealer.

DV-210 or dv-215 not sure but same part on both models. I've found an owners manual online I downloaded and that has the part #. It is called the thermopile, not thermocouple. Was going to try a couple places last night after work but with the sideroads so crappy I just booted home instead.

Yeah---thermopile is what you need.......I'd call the HVAC shops first as your more then likely won't be able to find them just anywhere. Just before you head out and buy one---- take some emery paper and sand the head of the unit,some times thats all you need to get it up and running again. Oh yeah they're more expensive then a standard thermocouple too.....
