If I'm not mistaken, wasn't it around Pine Island where that huge elk herd along HWY 52 had to be destroyed because of CWD?

This is basically something that no one knows how to take care of. Aren't deer numbers at an all time high (compared to historical numbers, I know they are down right now).

I think its spread is because of high numbers and low predation to weed out the ones that are sick the natural way. But having wolves isnt the way to do it because of human population density. The solution most likely isnt the best for hunters.

North Dakota recently found I believe a mule deer with CWD.

I forget the area but it's only time for all.
