Jiffy Model 30 $$$ ???

I have a jiffy model 30 8" auger that i never use, just sits in the garage, I start it once in a while, run it, put fresh gas in once a year, anyway people keep asking me if they can buy it, I am now considering it, how much is it worth?

If in good shape $200 would be fair. Still an awesome auger. I'd rather have a old Jiffy than most any of the new ones.

The older the better actually..... Mine's close to 30 years old and I wouldn't trade it for the world...well maybe a Nils....

They go for between $75 and $225 depending on.....

the only reason i am considering is that a couple years ago, i fell into a great deal, a jiffy 30 10inch that i use all the time, buckets of jig poles and tip-ups, sleds, skimmers, life jackets, summer poles and a couple of tackle boxes of lures for 250.00 it was all used once or twice, the guy just didn't give it long enough and lost interest got steamed and quit, then advertised on the radio talk show all this stuff for sale, and i happen to be driving by near his house, and was the first one there with cash in hand.

I agree around $200 is fair. The old Jiffys are workhorses. Mine is a 1960's and works great.
