"Case" solved

This past weekend I discovered that I lost my rod case on a lake in the SW metro. It had been a week since I lost it. It had my rods and my boys rods in it. I took a shot and posted it on the appropriate forum and I got an email the next day that someone had found it! He even delivered it to my house on his way home from work tonight!

I really appreciate it and wanted to let everyone know about a good deed done. wink

I hope he likes his "rewards" that I had laying around.

Many GOOD people out there. I read too many posts about the bad.

I was telling the story at work today, and my buddy said "it's karma for the purse thing" He then reminded me of a few months ago I found a woman's purse next the the road on the way to work and after a little computer search, found her number and got it back to her. She apparently left it on the roof of her car when she got gas. crazy I guess I got payed forward, backwards...

That's great.

Just a good reminder to etch your name/address/phone number into your items. I truly believe that 9 out of 10 sportsmen out there would be happy to contact the name on the items and return it.

Every item I've ever found with a name, I've contacted. Good Karma to everyone!
