Wadinator
Which four from this list should I start this week? Please list your choices in order of preference. THANK YOU!Woodhead (@buf)Rice (@cle)Jones-Drew (was)Green-Ellis (@buf)Tolbert (@cin)Torain (@jac)
thatoneguy
MJD and Green-Ellis are must start players, as they're great producers who are both playing gawdawful run defenses. Torain and Rice would be my other two, although Torain may not be all that much better than Woody or Tolbert. I lean toward Torain because Jax is also not good vs the run and the Skins will likely try to control the clock to keep the Jags' offense off the field. It's nice to have some cake matchups like that in championship week!I'm in my league's title game and have my Eagle trio (Vick, D. Jackson and Maclin) going up against a Vikings defense that has given up and Mendenhall against Carolina's awful run D.Good luck to you. Wadinator
WOW! With matchups like that this week, you should be lovin it!I have another one for ya. This is the championship game in my other (much thinner) league. Pick 3.Benson vs SDCharles vs TenTorain @ JacRicky William vs DetWestbrook @ STLNormally I wouldn't think twice about this one, going with Benson, Charles, and Torain. However, Benson versus the SD defense has me worried, and this is a big money league. In this league we also have one swing player that can be one more of those listed above as well as...Javarris James @oakKevin Walter @ DenSims-Walker vs WasManningham @ GBTony Gonzalez vs NOWhat do you think? thatoneguy
SD's defense has been playing great, and Cincy will be without TO which (in theory) should make it easier to focus on stopping the run. I don't think Benson is a terrible play, but I would go with Charles and Torain for sure, and probably Westbrook. It's a coin flip between Westbrook and Benson IMO. Westbrook probably has more potential, but Benson is more of a sure thing to get at least some points. For your flex I'd take Manningham. Green Bay's defense is very solid, but the NYG offense is pretty explosive and Manningham has been a good target. Sims-Walker has great potential with a friendly matchup, but it he has an annoying tendency to disappear for entire games. If you feel like taking the risk, he's definitely an option, but he could put up a zero for you just as easily as 120 and a TD.
thatoneguy
Here's my matchup for the title...enough cash on the line to pay for a chunk of the Humminbird SI sonar I have my eye on Purple Nurples (that's me) 13-2-0 QB - Vick WR - DeSean Jackson WR - Maclin WR - Stevie Johnson RB - Mendenhall RB - Jamaal Charles Flex - Tashard Choice (or Welker...I'm debating on that one) TE - Winslow Def - San Diego K - Tynes Quack Doctors 10-5-0 QB - P. Manning WR - Wayne WR - Colston WR - Garcon RB - MJD RB - McFadden Flex - V. Jackson TE - Marcedes Lewis Def - Jets K - Bironas We both have some great matchups, and are projected (by Yahoo, fwiw) for the exact same point total. Should be fun to watch! Wadinator
Good luck! All things considered, those are some pretty good lineups and matchups.Thank you for your thoughts. I'm going to go with all of your recommendations, except I think I'm going to start Westbrook over Manningham in the shift. Dixon is rumored to have a sore ankle, and they're switching from Alex Smith back to Troy Smith. Might be enough to spark their offense against a division foe. Stcloudangler
Hey just a thought but Kevin Walter has been getting around 10 looks per lately, Schaub has finally heated up, and Denver's been giving up alot of pts.... chew on it
Nick Kuhn
I'm playing this week to defend my league title. Here's the matchup (12 team league).Me: (10-3-1, lead league in points (107 more than 2nd place, my opponent))QB: Joe FlaccoRB: Michael TurnerRB: Darren McFaddenWR: Dwayne BoweWR: Mike WallaceWR: Roddy WhiteTE: Brandon PettigrewK: David AkersDS: Steelers Defense/Special TeamsOpponent: (13-1)QB: Ben RoethlisbergerRB: LeGarrette BlountRB: Jamaal CharlesWR: Larry FitzgeraldWR: Andre JohnsonWR: Reggie WayneTE: Marcedes LewisK: Rob BironasDS: Ravens Defense/Special TeamsShould be a good matchup. I could potentially start Miles Austin at WR or Green-Ellis at RB. But the players I have in are capable of monster numbers. TE is a little weak, but hopefully he can snag a TD. zamboni
I have McFadden on my team, he's like a box of chocolates- never know what you're gonna get. 3 tds on 50 yds? 0 tds on 120 yds? Never know

Arizona Def(please keep the laughing to a minimum:)Tunrevir~
FISHINGURU
MJD is doubtful.I'd go with Rice, Torain, Tolbert, Green-Ellis. If you get points for receptions I'd replace Green Ellis with Woodhead.
Nick Kuhn
Looks like I should have benched Flacco for Josh Freeman. Oh well I have a 13 point edge with 3 players remaining, to my opponents 1 (McCoy in place of Blount).
Wadinator
And I should have started Manningham instead of Westbrook in the shift position. Hindsight....20/20....blah blah blah.Oh well.
