benelli_dude2002
made another day trip up to WFB for some laker action. did very well. biggest was 12.5 lb 33 inch. choice of lure for me was a 2 inch Lindy Darter. just put bigger and stronger hooks on. even caught one on a Cracklin Rap. fish seem to becoming more suspended like 20 ft or more off bottom. encountered ZERO slush. the ride seemed a little rough when you stayed on a trail but i found it to be a smoother ride making my own trail. the snow is not as windpacked in Whitefish Bay. looking to head back up on the weekend of the 18th. Guru57
We hit crappies until noon Friday in Miles Bay then gave up as we only had one and went for walleyes. That was very good. Headed to Whitefish Saturday and the trout were on big time. 7 caught and 5 lost for 2 of us and we only fished until 1:00. Then went and caught more walleyes. Had a great time.
