Not The Right Message

Was following a giant Crestliner w/bimini top and sides today on my way to work. As we approached highway speed small wrappers from plastic worms started blowing out, followed by rapala boxes, followed by pop and beer cans, followed by a pair of gloves, followed by the whole top disintegrating. This is not the message we as fisherman should be sending to others. Take the 5 minutes and clean out your boat.

I agree. My wife and kids always give me dump because I have pop cans and food wrappers on the floor in the front passenger seat of my car. And I always tell them, well at least it's not going out the window.

... and keep your cig butts in your vehicle while your at it.

I also got a lot of dump for having cans, wrappers, etc... all over the passenger seat floor. Now I carry a large handful of plastic grocery bags in the boat and in the truck. When I am done fishing or stop at a gas station in the vehicle I fill the bag and toss it. It takes less than a minute!

this is easy, just pull through the automatic car wash/beer can remover.
get your pick-up or boat washed, then let the gale force blower dry and clean out your rig all at once. grin.gif

Anyone who has ever looked at the floor of my pickup knows I am not a litterbug. I always let my hunting or fishing buddy clean it out at his place when I pick em up. grin.gifgrin.gif Well they need someplace to sit and it won't be on my lap. My dog although doesn't seem to mind sitting on my sleeping bag and carharts.
