walleye44
Finicky Fish Factory is the way to go. You can buy 2 for the price of one with batteries. It uses D cells and the batterys & they will last all season. Good units & quiet. They are still around. I beleive you can still get them at Reeds. I have seen them online also. Just do a search for Finicky Fish Factory or motivator.. I am rigging up a clamp that I use the motivator in my portable to.. Can not wait.. FISHINGURU
So I take it the Finicky Fish Factory would be the best one to use for big pike fishing out on the open ice? Is this the only one that comes with the box style and heater? How big are these things? I'm thinking about getting one to put into my portable for tip up fishing on places like LOTW/Rainy.One that would keep the moving parts warm and keep the hole open would be stellar.EDIT- did some research they are 14.5 x 14.5 x 13.5What about the oil you put in these things? Do you add it when you get to the spot or will it not spill if you were to put it in your portable and drive 10 miles out on the lake with it. Hawg
My Lindell is a very well made product. Pretty foolproof and easy to use. Only bad thing is that I go to my house to relax and it's hard to take a nap with that dam rattle reel going off all the time..
