permanent or portable house

just wondering if most of you have portables or permanent houses. a perm would not work for me. sounds like most of you have portables

Permanent, though I have a fish trap that I have been thinking about trying to spear out of. I'm bummin with this snow, because usually I push the permy out on glare ice by hand, and then don't move it till we are driving on the lakes. This snow makes it more difficult. One more week and I'll get the perm out there one way or another.

I personally prefer the portables with the two endwalls being plywood and then the rest canvas. It can still be left on the lake with no worries, I am just finishing up my two-man house with this type of contstruction.

Both. I have a 4x6 hard side, and a quickfish 3. Last year I didn't use the perm a whole lot, though.

mainly a perm. use to use a portable, but i do like getting to the house and having the hole open and ready to rock.
