masoct3
Hi,Can someone please tell me the difference between the difference of these two models? The Pro Pack is $339 and the Genz is $264 at FF.Thanks.
BartmanMN
Machine is the same. Just a different case. I personally like the Genz blue box. If you need it to fit inside a pail, then Pro pack is better. Pro pack will likely have a battery sensor, genz will not.
hamms-scooter
I have the genz pack.It is way more durable and for the money difference your only out a battery meter. I would say charge your flasher after each use once battery is warmed up. That is a good deal for this time of the year.Bought mine in 06 for $249.00 The main thing I would do is put on a dual beam transducer. I love the option of 9 degree or 19. Changes everything for the situation your in. Good luck
PerchJerker
The Genz pack comes with a 7 amp battery, the Pro Pack comes with a 9 amp battery. The Pro Pack comes with rod holder, tackle box, transducer holder, battery status indicator, cable cleats, etc. The Genz pack doesn't have any of those features. Both cases are equally durable, in fact I don't think I've ever heard of either of them breaking. As mentioned the Pro Pack will fit inside a pail in case that's important to you.Hope that helps a bit.

icekid10
Also note that on the genz pack you can add any of those features if you want to in the future...
