olbaidhh
Well after a morning of duck hunting I sat down to watch the Packer game that was going well... so I got to wondering what to do with the rest of the day. I found an old piece of Basswood laying around drew up some plans and rough cut out my attempt at a Green Hornet. A little more sanding and some paint and I think she'll be good. Total time invested so far about a half hour.
leech~~
olb, keep up the good work. You have a few weeks until good ice or the Vik's win again to get-r-done!
landscaper
i just got done making a green hornet also. I made mine out of a ruff sawn piece of oak i think it was. Painted it yellow and green then did a quick coat of "Early American" stain over it and it DID start to remove the paint but i think it looks good.I took the design from a green hornet i bought at Slipperys Bar in Wabasha MN so it the same lenght but the width is wider at one end than the other since it was a piece of ruff sawn. tough cutting but it turned out great!
