Rossi 20GA Single Shot Barrels?

Recommended Posts

I was told that you have to send it to Rossi to get the barrel fitted to the gun so the fireing pin hits the primmer on the 243. I know this as I have two of these guns 22/20 ga and 243/20ga I wanted to buy the 243 barrel and the muzzy barrel for the 22/20ga for the boy but it was way cheaper and way less time to buy another gun.

You could also check with Keelers gunsmithing to see if he can put a rifled choke in the barrel Keeelers is one of our sponsers also and a great guy to work with

Hope this helps Rangerguy

They advertise the heck out of those barrels, but even dealers can't seem to find em. Elwood is right, I could put choke tubes in the shotgun barrel and you can get a rifled tube. I have tried a lot of combos and I can tell you that when you find the combo that works that way you will shoot just as well as a fully rifled barrel. And I'm close to Wright county too!

I know that the 20ga kicks like a mule with shotshells have never fired a slug thru it and I dont belive I want to either

The .243 is a tack driver thou not much recoil and the kid loves it.

Good luck in finding a barrel and if you find some thing out let me know as I have one I wiould like to barrel up also.

But I think I know what I gotta do
