Veni Roast Recipe?

Recommended Posts

I take one roast, put it in the oven at 325 for 4 hours with these ingredients. If you want it in the oven longer, drop the temp to about 315. Use 2 forks to pullk it out as it may break in 2 as it will be so tender.

1-qt tomatoes

1-tbsp worchestire sause

1-tbsp brown sugar

2-tbsp vinegar

The roast will be as tender as it can get. The tomato will pull out the gamy taste and you will have a venison roast as good as they come.

I promise it is that good.

Heres one that works for stew , roast, you name it and it's good!

Brown your roast or stew pieces. Put in a corningware dish, add beef broth about a 1/2" deep. Cook for 2 hours @ 325 degrees ( covered). then add vegtables, potatoes etc and cook another hour ( add more broth if nessesary). Turn down to 275 for another 30 minutes for a total of 3 1/2 hours! Everything will fall apart with plenty of moisture in the meat! Awesome!!

I made a beef roast this weekend for sandwiches, but no reason it won't work with venison. Take your average roast, add a package of onion soup mix, a jar with juice of banana peppers, and anything that might be good. Let it cook for a solid 8-12 hours, shred, and serve on a good roll with some provolone. Very good!

Just ate a roast using this recipe.

Soak roast overnight is salt water (about a table spoon in enough water to cover the roast) Discard water after overnight soak

Cut slits in the roast top and insert garlic cloves

Add packet of dry onion soup mix

Add can of cream of mushroom soup. Do not add water or milk

Cook in slow cooker on low until done. Try 4 to 6 hours.
