Deer processing in the S.E. metro

Any ideas on where to get a deer processed in the s.e. metro? Von Hansens is good but expensive. Has anyone tried Gregs meats in Hamoton?

I have heard good things about them, one of my friends drives up there from Red Wing every year. If you want to drive a little further down 52, Lorentz Meats in Cannon Falls is another place I have heard good reviews from friends about.

Another place that does a great job which I have used before is Kenyon Meats in Kenyon Mn. Fairly priced and everything but the brats I recommend. They do a Cheddar jalapeno mix with their stick and summer sausage that is fabulous. I'd still be going there today if it wasn't an hour and a half drive.

All these places will give you samples, i suggest you pack your trimmings or deer in the vehicle and go do a little taste testing. When you find one that suites your pallet give them a try.

Gregs is great. We take all of our game there. Venison, elk and buffalo. Well worth the trip.
