Spearing Machine
You could give Natures Lake (to some known as squaw lake). I believe its a waterfowl resting and stop over lake where no motors are allowed but I beleive that it holds a fair number of birds and some wild rice. I have never duck hunted just from what I have heard from others.
Archerysniper
+1 for squaw lake lot's of rice otherwise look towards the north round bridge lots of rice around that area it is the river that heads north out of round. Lots of little beaver ponds that hold birds also.
totally_addicted
I hunted in Squaw Lake opening weekend. There is NO rice on squaw lake this year. At least not compared to years past. Check out Rice lake just east of there. There is a little more out there this year.
magnum mike
There is no rice on Round or in the river. Squaw Lake had some but the Septemeber rains and hign winds took care of that. BIg Rice has some but there have been more hunters this year than we have ever seen. With MEA weekend coming, it will be a joke up there.
