eggs in walleye...already?

so i was out today and landed a nice 17" eater. i get it home and introduced to my filet knife and she had eggs all over the place??? i'm confused...has anyone else seen this? they were white instead of yellow!?

i did not take any pics, but somewhat kicking myself now, so please somebody tell me this is something that could happen in fall.

Eggs start developing in the fall for many fish. It is normal to find eggs in walleye this early, but they will increase in size through the winter.

pan fish are year round from what I see, cleaned a small batch 15 minutes ago and found eggs, again.

ok good...i guess i never really noticed before. i usually throw back most all of the walleyes i catch in the fall anyway, but this one was too perfect for the frying pan.
