Looking at taking my boys trapping this fall for the first time just wondering where any furbuyers are in minnesota? I have not trapped in about 8 years I am located along the canadian border.

that is only if you skin and flesh- otherwise i know there are several county fur buyers up north. Not sure where you are, but up there it shouldn't be to tough to find one. Fosston has one, but not sure if they are open this year or not.

Any specifics on local fur buyers? What's the deal with Johnson's Fur in Willmar? Anyone sell to them? Also, isn't there a place in Roberts Wisconsin. I am looking for a place that'll take the full the carcass. There used to be a place outside of Clarkfield MN. Anyone know if they are still in business?

Wallers Fur Co. is a few miles south of Clarkfield and they take the full carcass as does Johnson's Fur in Willmar.

I just moved up to detroit lakes and I am hopeing to get out and chase some yotes around this winter. I need a place i can take them to up around here carcass and all. Thanks for the help.

Waller Fur- that's the one I couldn't think of. I used to sell all my furs to them back in the late 80's. Great bunch of guys and seemed to give fair prices. I remember as a teenager, they would let me hang around and watch them skin and stuff which I thought was really cool. I hope to get back thier this fall/winter. Thanks for the information. Anyone getting any information on prices yet?
