Was listening to a discusion on MPR today and the topic was how much action time do we see on TV,

Part of MPR tanscript

If you're tuning in to any of today's postseason baseball games, consider this: Though you may have the television on for three or more hours, you will likely see only about 14 minutes of action. As for the rest of the time? Well, there'll be likely some 40 minutes of commercials, 10 or so minutes of replays, and close to an hour and a half of players just standing around. That's, at least, according to an analysis by Wall Street Journal sports reporter David Biderman, who joins us now from New York. Welcome.

For the rest of discussion.

I hope you all dont think I was trying to make a comentary on baseball I just thought it was intresting and if the full transcript was read a better understanding of the discusion would be understood.

At the end he mentions Football has 11 minutes of action.

I was thinking about something else when I read this thread.... grin

And the answer in None! wink

I get frustrated with all the questions and she gets frustrated with my lack of involvement.

Nice!

DVR!!!! One of the best inventions ever! Sit down at least 45 minutes after it starts. Skip all the commercials. I would much rather watch a recorded (or delayed) show than live.
