"White" Lab for duck hunting?

Recommended Posts

Does anyone duck hunt with the white variety of the yellow lab?? I have a young lab I've been training and I was thinking of bringing him out this year at least for 1 day... except I am concerned the color of his fur might keep the ducks away...?? Even with a camo dog vest his face and tail are still very white.

This might sound silly, but do they sell camo dog fur paint??

yep its called green spray paint smile

my uncle's dog has a lot of white and when we've gone out its just a matter of keeping a camo cloth over the dog. makes it so the dog can't mark birds down as well, but it usually jumped up once we started shooting

I had an Ivory lab and he was a whopping 130 lbs of solid mucsle and never once had a issue with him flareing ducks. if the dog sits still you'll be fine and if that isnt good enough for you pray for snow grin
