Can anyone, or will anyone be willing to share where these wild hogs are located primarily in Wisconsin?

My two work buddies and I were thinking of maybe doing a hog hunt next year, and were thinking if it's someplace close to the Taylors Falls area we would make it a family outing and jsut camp in Taylors Falls. the guys would go hunting, and the girls would shop the local areas.

Any help wouold be appreciated

Couple things.

Your going to be hard pressed to randomly find a hog. They are few and far between. Per the last published map from WI DNR, there have not been any sightings in Polk Co, which is where St. Croix Falls is (across the river from Taylors Falls)

Also, be warned that shopping in Taylors Falls and St. Croix Falls is pretty limited.

I'm with ya though on the desire. I have some property in St. Croix County and have some friends there and I would love to shot one. All of the land is located right where they have been sighted (per the map) and out in the country, but none of us have ever seen one.

According to the scientist that are studying these pigs, they will have taken over most of America within the next 10yrs. There getting more popular in Wis, talking to more people each yr that see them north of 8. Free Bacon is all I see. smile I'd prefer to tangle with a Russian though, man are those things big.
