Ribs, need help fast.

I am going to see the race in Kansas City this weekend, Does anyone know of a good rib joint to visit when I get there? K.C. states that it has many fine rib joints but I wonder if anyone here has personal experience. I just want to try some to see if they are as good as mine.

If you like Orange County Choppers...you have to go to this place just to see the bikes.

My daughter had the ribs, and said they were the best ever. I had a brisket sandwich that was awesome. They have an open pit in the restaurant, and an open fire out on the patio where you can roast your own s'mores (buy a kit when you come in the door).

Gates BBQ and Artur Bryants are two of the best...the Woodyard is pretty good, too.

There are lots of food/eating forums that you can visit, and I'm sure that many of them have discussed rib joints in Kansas City. Obviously I can't specifically link you to any of those chow sites, but a quick search can turn them up.

For Pork Ribs, any of the joints mentioned above are top-notch. But if you want one flippin amazing meal go to Jack Stacks and get their BBQ Crown Prime Beef Ribs. It's basically Prime Rib on the bone BBQ'd slow all day and slathered in their amazing sauce.

Sweet Mother of God, I can taste them now!

The 2 that I've had are Oklahoma Joe's and Arthur Bryants. Both are excellent.

I found this little place right in the middle of the hood, Ricky's place, excellent!! B. clinton even had them come to D.C. and cater twice. Found them by accident.
