musty smell from wet boots

Anyone have any tips about how to get a musty smell out boots, got a little wet on the opener and they didnt get to dry out and now they have the funky mildewy smell that wont go away. Thanks in advance.

might change the insole and see if that helps, also some baby powder will help get the moisture out

Try your odor eliminator hunting spray or if scent is okay febreze fabric spray is suppose to work according to a friend I hunt with.

Baking soda should absorb the smell, sprinkle some in there or just set a box of it in the boot and it should take care of it.

When i worked for thief lake WMA, we would put ash an the chunks of charcoal from our wood stove in the pit toilets at the landings to asbsorb smell an it worked great, I put it my hunting close bin to absorb orders. boar

charcoal, or pine sawdust work great! pine is great cover scent too!

buy a boot dryer and use it.....my boots smell great and I use the dryer after every use.....it kills the bacteria that causes the smell
