bear ate my stand

Recommended Posts

I just switched jobs so I've got about 14 free days that I've using mostly to bear bait and hang out at the deer shack. I got up here early today to run a couple of baits for tomorrow. One has nice 300 plus ponder coming in with a few other smaller bears. When I checked it tonight I found that one of the little buggers scaled my tree and ate the seat out of my 15 year old baby grand stand. I'm going to have shoot their grand daddy. As punishment. Good luck to everyone tomorrow.

Crib was empty. 150#'s since Saturday. The same thing popped in my head. When they run out of food they get curious. They also beat up on the flagging tape I put out.

In many ways bears act like immature people. Some of them throw tantrums when they don't get their own way. They tear up seats, blinds tear down bait site signs etc.

We have one angry cuss coming in. He keeps flipping over a stool near the crib. It's become a game between us all. We flip it upright, he knocks it over and tears it up. He's also pretty much demolished one camera and tore down my signs...
