DREZLER
We were thinking of making our ND trip a little earlier this year- maybe like non-res opener on October 2nd or the 9th in order to take advantage of all the resident ducks. When hunting off the beaten bath a bit- like Towner County- Bisbee, Egeland, Etc,- would anyone out there suspect that we will see many more hunters than what we have been seeing later in the year? marine_man
I expect you'll see a decent number of people on non-resident opener no matter where you go. I'm not sure where you hunted before, so it's hard to provide a guess on the difference, but in general, there are usually a decent number of hunters out on non-resident opener to catch some of the local birds.marine_man
UMC
You will see a lot of hunters in that area on non-res opener (aka boat parade). You'll still be able to find spots to hunt but there will be more competition. However, early in the year the birds are more widespread so you probably will have birds to shoot if you aren't too picky.
