B-man715
I have a nice bear coming into one of my sites. Anybody have a guess on the weight? I'm guessing 350 or maybe a little bigger? I don't have much experience in judging their weight. B-man715
Thanks for the replys guys I told you I'm new to this LOL The video is over a bait that had already been cleaned out the day before by a smaller bear. In Wisconsin our baits must be contained inside an "all natural container," ie. the hollow log in the backround and the rock to cover the top which is in the foreground. It cannot be accesible to deer or other animals (in this case the large rock keeps out the deer, coons, fox, and fisher who have all been over to investigate.) Some guys dig a hole to put bait into, then cover with it with logs. I like the rock/hollow stump method. We can't use drums or buckets like you guys, and are not allowed to use bacon grease, meat, honey, animal carcasses ect. Natural or processed things that are not a direct animal by-product like donuts, cookie dough, gummies, corn, oats, popcorn, frosting, ect ect are allowed. They are also very strict about garbage, if a warden finds even a gum wrapper at a bait site, a citation will be issued.

superbee
Busy.... that is for sure and hot so far. Making baiting alot of fun. Got some nice bears coming in and the pics are starting to roll in. This will get you excited, I acquired another Bear Management Area next to the one I talked to you about. It has not been hunted in years, another outfitter lost it for non utilization and I got it. How bout you?
